Underwater:

The Ohlson 38 has been built well. The hulls supplied by Tyler had an outstanding quality which could easily be checked after these were taken out of the mould. The hulls were produced with a button of clear gelcoat which made the hull appear translucent or looking like "glass". The colour coding of each glass-matt was visible and could be checked for proper placement according to the plan. Any lack of quality within the production process e.g. from air trapped within the GRP would have been visible right after production. This is one reasons why these hulls performed well over time.
